In 1979, Sydney Vintage Car Restorations opened its doors for the first time.
Forty years on Sydney Vintage Car Restorations is still continuing to restore vintage and classic cars with the same passion and enthusiasm.
To celebrate we would like to share with you our story and some pictures of the interesting vehicles we have restored over the past forty years.

Schofields, Riverstone and Vineyard 1979 - 1982
Sydney Vintage Car Restorations was first established in the year 1979 in the suburb of Schofields. Later that year, Gill and Sara relocated the workshop to Riverstone.
During this time Gill worked on a Holden XU1, Holden Sunbird, Ford Model T, Austin Sheerline, MG B and a VW Field car. In these early years Gill’s father Hubert helped in the workshop as an assistant. Gill worked long hours and established a strong work ethic with emphasis on good quality restorations at an affordable cost. This mind set and work ethic is still key to Gill’s philosophy for SVCR today.
